KUIKBOX KB-DIV: Internal Voltage Divider Plate

The Kuikbox Internal Divider Plate (KB-DIV) is a heavy-duty, 16-gauge galvanized steel partition designed to seamlessly integrate into any Kuikbox electrical enclosure. It provides a rigid, permanent physical barrier between device spaces, allowing electrical contractors to safely and legally route differing voltage classes within a single multi-gang system.

Whether you are combining 120V power receptacles with sensitive Cat6 data ports, mixing 277V lighting with 0-10V dimming controls, or separating 480V industrial power from standard 120V switches, the KB-DIV is your ultimate inspection insurance policy. It eliminates the need to mount secondary, isolated junction boxes—saving significant wall space, material costs, and labor time.

Technical Specifications:

  • Dimensions: 5.875" (H) x 4.0" (D) x 1.5" (Mounting Flange)
  • Packaged Weight: 0.62 lbs
  • Material Construction: 16-Gauge Galvanized Zinc Steel (G90)
  • Compatibility: Universal fit for multi-gang Kuikbox Enclosure models (KB-02 through KB-06).

Certifications & NEC Code Compliance:

  • UL Certification: UL Listed Type 1 Enclosure Accessory (Covered under Kuikbox File # E478988).
  • NEC Article 725.136(A) & 800.133: Safely isolates Class 2/Class 3 low-voltage control and data cables from high-voltage line power.
  • NEC Article 404.8(B) (The 300-Volt Rule): Provides the mandatory physical barrier required when adjacent snap switches have a voltage potential exceeding 300 volts (e.g., 120V and 277V switches mounted side-by-side).

Compliance Disclaimer: While the Kuikbox Divider Plate is engineered to address these specific National Electrical Code (NEC) articles, local building codes and municipal amendments may vary. The installing electrical contractor is solely responsible for verifying all compliance and separation requirements with their local Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) prior to installation.
